Kiara has been fighting monsters for years, surpassing the average lifespan of ones that specialize in mistcrawler killing, although she is often criticized for her technique.
The secret to her success is managing what no other has done before: catching and successfully brainwashing/training them, making them a powerful weapon in killing off their own species.
She has been jealously keeping the taming process to herself, since she doesn’t want the monsters to be used in other means. There are a few facts that could be noticed in the mistcrawlers that she had tamed- all were young castrated males, and were highly expendable: not one that wasn’t killed in a fight managed to aid in the monster hunts for more than one year (whether they revert to their uncontrollable state or are just unable to fight with full force is highly debatable, since Kiara made sure they were disposed of).
Mistcrawlers: vicious monsters ruled by instincts, lurking in the depths of the mist. They prefer dark and humid areas, and were almost never seen during the daylight. Although they have a few sets of eyes, their vision is very limited, and they rely on their hearing the most. It is believed that that is the reason they prefer the mist.
